Dele Exam
The “DELE” stands for Diploma de Español como lengua extranjera or diplomas of Spanish as a foreign language. DELE is an official title that accredits the level of Spanish-language competency that is issued by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport in Spain.

C1
LEVEL C1
This certifies the ability to understand lengthy speech or texts and express their feelings or point of view fluently. They have complete knowledge of using the right words in the correct place.
C2
LEVEL C2
The person is capable of communicating in any situation and can handle the circumstances very gracefully. They can easily comprehend texts, words, or phrases with natural expressions.
About DELE Exam

How long is the duration of the DELE exam?
The DELE exam is between two and a half and five hours long, approximately (including breaks), based on the level.
The A1 exam includes four tests:
- Reading comprehension (45 minutes)
- Listening comprehension (25 minutes)
- Written expression and interaction (25 minutes)
- Oral expression and interaction (10 minutes + 10 minutes to prepare)
The C2 exam only consists of three tests and is much longer:
- Language, reading and listening comprehension (105 minutes)
- Integrated skills: Listening and reading comprehension, and written expression and interaction (150 minutes)
- Reading comprehension, oral expression and interaction (20 minutes + 30 minutes to prepare)
